Please be advised that we are currently experiencing extensive delays in the Charleston market and are working diligently to improve the situation. The congestion in Charleston has reached a critical state over the past several weeks. In some cases containers are being diverted from ports like Savannah to Charleston in mid-stream.
As the congestion continues to peak at ports like Los Angeles and New Jersey, alternative destinations like Charleston are now seeing an influx of containers. In addition to the increased volume, there is serious labor, driver and chassis shortage in the market.
STG is focused on expanding capacity in all areas, but delays are to be expected until further notice.
