Effective November 22nd, 2021 the following updates will be made to our rates in New Jersey and Los Angeles:
Los Angeles
Import Pier Congestion Fee will increase to $12.00 per CBM/800 lbs $25.00 Min
New Jersey
Import Pier Congestion Fee will increase to $10.00 per CBM/800 lbs $25.00 Min
IPI Congestion Surcharge will be implemented at $ 7.00 per CBM/800 lbs
The current conditions in New Jersey have rapidly become similar to those in LA over the past 2 months. The backlog at the piers has increased exponentially which is causing a heavy increase in demurrage and per diems that STG Logistics has been absorbing well above and beyond the current surcharges that are in place. We are closely monitoring this situation and will provide further updates as necessary.
