Norfolk Partner CFS Severe IPI Congestion Updates

Our partner CFS in Norfolk, Forward Air, is facing space constraints that is delaying the recovery of IPI loads and devanning of cargo at destination. In addition to this, we continue to see a lack of driver capacity to this market as well. STG will provide updates as we see this market clear up, but until then, there will continue to be considerable service delays to Norfolk.
To avoid service delays, we recommend rerouting cargo to another IPI destination such as Baltimore, DC, Richmond, or another destination that may fit your client’s needs.
