BNSF reported a derailment of a non-intermodal train that occurred last night near Marceline, MO which has impacted both main tracks. BNSF is currently working on reroutes of trains into and out of Chicago. Mechanical and engineering groups are on site to remove derailed cars and to begin track repair work after.
This derailment could cause severe delays on traffic depending on the severity of the derailment and duration of the repairs.
