Union Pacific Railroad announced they will suspend all international intermodal service from the ocean ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach, Oakland, and Tacoma to UP Global IV in Joliet, Illinois.
The interruption will be for 7 days and will begin on July 18 at 11:59pm to allow yard workers to exclusively focus on putting stacked containers onto chassis, handed over to truck drivers and delivered to beneficial cargo owners.
