The Norfolk Southern Railway has lifted the ingate restrictions from Kansas City, MO to Bethlehem (PA), Rutherford (PA) and Austell (GA). Delay is expected while NS works through the backlog.
Due to on going ramp congestion, labor challenges and car imbalances, the Norfolk Southern Railway continues to implement gate restrictions from all NS origin points to Kansas City, MO. These restrictions are expected to limit carrier’s ability to pick up shipments through Friday, September 23rd.
